With plenty of authors and readers the Book Fiend Readers’ Fest On September 25th was a big success including the excellent panel on Love and Loss in Fiction that I was part of and moderated with Renée Fleury, Thom Truelove, AL Davroe, and Jessica Lucci. Special Guest appearance by Lamarr.

I’ll be seeing my fellow authors and steampunk enthusiasts so stop and chat. I’ll even bring my Cthulhu Mask.
Good riddance to 2020. I think almost all of us are glad it’s over. I didn’t reach all my goals, but I’m a bit further along in editing A Penny For Your Soul. I didn’t do any writing for the last two weeks of December. I wasn’t being productive. I have a goal of being through final edits by April Fool’s Day.
The good news is that I will be a grandfather in less than a month! My daughter is due February 1st and my mom is looking forward to becoming a great grandmother.
My writing critique group is starting up in a couple of weeks so I have to finish a short story for that. Alas, it is all virtual for now, and I miss New York City. Still, there’s good news on the horizon although the challenges of vaccine distribution are there, there’s also light at the end of the tunnel.
Working off inspiration from my Halloween outfit comes a novel of blood and humor with the working title Barbarian Rhapsody.
